The security and safety of our systems and users are our utmost priority at Fazz. Throughout 2023, Fazz has continued working closely with the Singapore Police Force CyberCrime Command (CCC) to detect and report any signs of cybercrime before they happen.
We are proud that the CCC has recognised our efforts as Fazz has once again received the Alliance of Public Private Cybercrime Stakeholders (APPACT) Appreciation Award for the seventh time! The award commemorates the efforts of private companies in Singapore, who have supported the Singapore Police Force in the prevention of cybercrime.
Mr How Kwang Hwee, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Investigation and Intelligence) and concurrently Director, Criminal Investigation Department, said: ?Over the years, we have seen successful collaborations between the SPF and our partners, including in the areas of investigations, raising of public awareness on cybercrime and conducting sharing or training for other law enforcement counterparts in the region. The Police are grateful to our APPACT partners for their continued support and we look forward to many more collaborations with the APPACT partners in the fight against cybercrime.?
The other companies that received the award are United Overseas Bank, OCBC Bank, Carousell, Google Asia Pacific, Meta, TikTok, Trend Micro, Microsoft, Group-IB, Blackpanda, Kasperksy, Lazada, and Palo Alto Networks. APPACT comprises 63 partners from various industries, such as telecommunications and cryptocurrency companies, that collaborate with the Singapore Police Force to tackle cybercrime.
Earlier this year Fazz was also awarded with Outstanding Community Partnership Award (OCPA), presented by Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs & Ministry of Social and Family Development, Ms Sun Xueling as part of the strong collaboration towards the fight against crimes.

The award marks Fazz?s ongoing mission to be a close partner of relevant authorities in the fight against cybercrime in Singapore. We will continue to work hard to maintain the highest possible security standards to deliver a safe service experience for our users.
Moving forward with our efforts against cybercrime, money laundering & fraud
Receiving the APPACT appreciation award will mean that Fazz will continue to enforce its three-pronged approach:
- Training & case-studies: The continuing effective training of our team members on anti-money laundering and detecting suspicious transactions, especially with the use of recent case studies in order to illustrate our policies and procedures.
- Evaluation & improvement of security and monitoring systems: The need for continuous improvement of our platform, and internal software systems for fraud and transactions monitoring.
- Pre-emptive approach to crime prevention: To stay ahead of criminals and fraud, we update ourselves with knowledge of the latest criminal trends and their modus operandi. With the Alliance of Public Private Cybercrime Stakeholders (APPACT) partnership, we have a quick and direct line of communicating with the police and more importantly, a direct line to other financial institutions that may be involved in the transaction.
